My Oct 5 Workshop on Agents & Editors

One of the positive moments in an author’s life is sharing our experiences with others. I’m relatively new to book publishing, but I’ve had an amazing time and I’ve learned a lot. Now, I get a chance to share my experiences at Collin College’s 2013 Writer’s Workshop on Saturday, October 5. My topic is:

Agents and Editors: Finding Partners and Avoiding Predators

The workshop will demonstrate how to find literary agents and publishers for your genre manuscript. See specific examples on how to research individuals and companies to protect yourself and your work. Participants will leave the workshop armed with resources that everyone who’s serious about submitting their work should know.

If you’d like to check it out, visit http://www.collin.edu/ce/courses/writersworkshop.html and sign up. There are a bunch of other workshops available, too. My workshop, Session 2, is Saturday from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
